TRAINING. Universitetskanslersämbetet (UKA) has been commissioned by the government to develop a new system to ensure the quality of higher education study programs. An important part of the new quality system is the internal quality of work at the universities providing the study programs.
The new quality system to be based on the assessments which the government makes in the letter Quality assurance of higher education (2015/16: 76).

The proposal has been developed in consultation with representatives of universities and colleges, teachers, students and working life. UKÄ is keen to receive feedback on the proposal. During May and June the proposal will be discussed at several dialogue sessions with, among others, Vice Chancellors, Quality Coordinators, representatives of students, teachers and working life.It is also possible to comment on the proposal via the UKÄ website. The comments will be considered in UKÄ’s continued method development work. In September, a decision will be made.
