SAHLGRENSKA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL. Barbro Friden will soon leave her position as Hospital Director at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and assume new tasks. The change takes place after the summer and recruitment of a replacement has begun.
“I’ve had a great time here at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the decision was not easy to make”, says Barbro Friden.
Her new assignment is a position as CEO for an endevour to build a public hospital group with Swedish expertise, leadership and health care in the United Arab Emirates on behalf of the Gothenburg-based company Global Health Partners.
“The challenge to export Swedish medical expertise was too tempting for me to be able to say no. I leave this viable care operations and I am proud to have been part of and contribute to the fine development that the hospital has had. I thank you all for fruitful collaboration, says Barbro Friden.
The Regional Director has begun the process of recruiting a new Hospital Director.
