Now is the time to propose yourself or other researchers to the University of Gothenburg program during the Science Festival. The Science Slam is held in English.
The International Science Festival in Gothenburg is one of the world’s ten largest popular science events. Around 70,000 visit the festival every year. Science Festival is a wonderful opportunity to tell the public about your research.

All people have a right to knowledge and education – no matter how old you are or whether you have a disability. Education, knowledge and fun experiences contributes to a richer life for all.

Meet a scientist and refreshments. The researchers explain briefly about what they do at work. Then you can ask curious and tricky questions and see exciting examples. Juice, Bun and research for both children and adults!
Science Slam (English!)

Do you like to talk about your research? Do you like challenges? Or do you have a colleague who fits That description? For the fifth year four researchers from the University of Gothenburg meet four fellow researchers from Chalmers, and compete for the best three-minute popular science presentation. The audience Decides who wins. The Science slam contest is a great way for non-experts to meet science in a fun, accessible and entertaining way.
