THE RESEARCH DAY. On February 25 will be a day we dedicate entirely to preclinical and clinical cutting edge research in Gothenburg. More than half of the seats are already booked – and now, the program is also established. Swedish will be the main language during this day. Last day to register to this event is Friday, February 19.
The Research Day will shed light on some of the areas where cooperation between the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and Sahlgrenska Academy gives additional strength to the research. The research will be presented at such a level that you do not need to be an expert to keep up.
According to Anna Nilsdotter, R & E Manager at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, the response for the research day so far has been very good:
– We wanted to create as large a width as possible during the day. All who have been asked to present during the day have said yes, and I have received many questions about the day.
The guiding principles for the program has been “We are both strong – but together we are stronger”. During eleven sessions presented internationally competitive research in nephrology, aging research, child and youth, psychiatry, melanoma, orthopedics, gut flora, person-centered care, stroke, image-based diagnosis and treatment, and cancer.
The Research Day will take place Thursday, February 25, at 8:30 to 17:00, in the Conference Centre Wallenberg.
