ELECTION RESULT. A large majority of those who voted in the election of electors were in favor of the nomination committee’s proposal.
The eight electors are chosen to be included in the assembly that appoints the teachers’ representatives on the University Board. The elected members of the assembly are Per Lindahl, Kristina Eriksson, Karin Ahlberg, Kajsa H Abrahamsson, Eva Forssell-Aronsson Per Elias, Susanna Cardell and Göran Kjeller. Electors from different parts of the University shall agree on teacher representation on the university board in the beginning of December. The electors may not themselves be such representatives.
The election of electors was conducted electronically between November 16 and 22. 148 voters participated in the election, representing a turnout of 22.9 percent. Of the 148 who voted, 136 were fully supportive of the nomination committees proposal. Twelve voters made some changes in their electronic ballot.
