ENVIRONMENTAL WORK. This weekend, Students in Gothenburg will arrange a demonstration for a better climate. The march coincides with the start of the climate summit in Paris on Sunday 29 November.
Gothenburg Students for Sustainability Alliance, GSSA, with representatives from both the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers, wants to be involved in the struggle for a better climate and has therefore taken the initiative to march. They encourage all students to participate.

Several climate marches are planned around the world in many cities, and the march is part of the largest climate mobilizations ever and coincides with the start of the COP 21 conference in Paris.
Committed students
Before the climate march GSSA arranges a climate-conscious week, between 23 and 29 November. The week is filled with various events and happenings. The aim is to spread knowledge and awareness of climate change and also to encourage all students to participate in the march.
– It is an excellent initiative. We at the Faculty of Science think it is very positive that the students are interested and engaged in global issues such as climate change. I myself attend to show our support, says Deliang Chen, Vice Dean for Research, Faculty of Science.
The climate march is organized by Science Students for Sustainability (SCISS), Sahlgrenska Students for Sustainability (SASS), Handel’s Students for Sustainability (HASS), Students for Global Sustainability (GLOSS), Faculty of Arts Students for Sustainability (Huss) and Chalmers Students for Sustainability (CSS).
