A reportage recorded in May 2014, when Academicum became a Teddy Bear Clinic. A large group of medical students used the premises as a waiting room, a pharmacy and a theater. Close to 90 preschoolers from all around Gothenburg came to visit with their teddy bears in tow.
“We are a group of medical students who act “teddy doctors’ and look after the children’s teddy bears. The aim is to get children safe with hospitals and health professionals”, said Rebecca Gyllenram who was one of seven medical students who arranged the event.
