Core Facilities has implemented an organizational change within the Laboratory for Experimental Biomedicine, EBM. With this change, the role of Director is expanded to also include a role as Head of experimental animal operations.
The change is an adaption to new legislation, and strengthens the development and quality of work within EBM.
New Director and Department Head is Mary Jo Wick, professor of immunology at the Institute of Biomedicine. Associate Professor Ulf Nannmark remains Deputy Director and has Director’s responsibilities and powers when Mary Jo is not available. Morgan Lidén remains responsible for EBM’s research administration, premises, technical facilities and service, and is also the administrative manager of Core Facilities.
