University Director Jörgen Tholin has decided to set up a unit called the Research and Innovation Office. The new unit will take effect from April 1st, 2013.
Previously there has been the Research and Innovation Service, located in the Department of External Relations. External Relations now cease to exist, and the new Research and Innovation Officewill be placed directly in the field of operations support.
Previous functions in Research and Innovation Services will be deployed as follows. The function for interaction is placed in the Communication Unit. Commissioned training will be placed within the Office of the Field Operations Support. The Ad Portal will be placed within the Training Unit.
The Communications Unit that previously was found in External Relations will be an independent entity with placement in the field of Operational Support.
The position as Head of the Research and Innovation Office will be advertised internally.
