The year’s primary call for ALF grant applications has commenced

GRANTS. The application period for ALF project funding for Gothenburg-based research has commenced; it will conclude on Thursday, June 1, 2017. This year’s application procedure includes several changes. Please note that all applicants must print out the “Project Agreement” form (available via ResearchWeb) and arrange to have it signed by a healthcare services operations manager well in advance of June 1, the deadline for applications. EU funds Research School in Neurogastroenterology

[WEB TV] Magnus Simréns research group is one of ten in Europe taking part in a new European research school in Neurogastroenterology. In total, EU is investing just over SEK 30 million in the research school.

Performance-based, Direct Government Funding for Research (Fakultetsanslag) to Be Scaled Back

From now on, the performance-based component of the direct funding that Sahlgrenska Academy’s institutes receives from the national government will be used for strategic initiatives at the faculty level. The change was revealed in the faculty’s budget for the coming year, as set by the Academy Board.
