Curie: The register shows the way to the right treatment
All Swedish hospitals and 7200 patients are included in the largest worldwide study of a medical device used in acute myocardial infarction. The goal of the study, led from Uppsala, is to find out which treatment is the best. The survey is based on a national quality register and costs only a fraction compared to a traditional clinical trial, the Swedish Research Council’s Journal Curie reports.
