The purpose of the grant is to bridge the gap between basic research and utilisation or commercialisation of research results within the infection area. The call opens on April 24, 2024.

The NBIS Peer Review Bioinformatics Support track (WABI) strives to enable excellent and Data-Driven Life Science, by ensuring that peer-reviewed research projects have access to advanced bioinformatics and data science competence. The selected projects will receive 500 hours of free work by a senior bioinformatician.

To celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Swedish Heart-Lung foundation 2024, the foundation will announce a jubilee grant. The jubilee grant is intended for researchers who obtained their Ph.D. seven to 15 years ago (main applicants) and have not yet achieved a full professorship.
