Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research – Strategic Mobility 2024

The Foundation for Strategic Research, SSF, finances the salary costs for people who, for a period, want to move between industry/business/authority/hospital and academia/research institute. The purpose of the program is to increase personal mobility, knowledge transfer and cross-fertilization between sectors.

Scholarships form The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. A maximum amount of SEK 100,000 can be granted to doctoral students and researchers who have completed a doctoral degree may be granted a maximum amount of SEK 300,000. Among the latter, those who have done their dissertation over the past five years are given priority. Appropriations are paid for a maximum of one year. Contact: scholarship@kva.se

STINT International Postdocs for outbound postdocs

The aim of the programme is to enhance the quality of Swedish research and higher education by giving researchers who have recently obtained their PhDs the opportunity to pursue a postdoctoral research project at an institution abroad. Participating postdocs are thus offered the chance to experience new academic environments, become more independent and extend their international networks.
