The webinar is given in Swedish. It is primarily aimed at you who are responsible for postgraduate education or supervise doctoral students. The deadline for registration is Monday, October 3.

In a new report published at the end of September/October, the Swedish Research Council, together with a group of researchers and communication experts, produces a three-part framework for how communication about research can become a natural part of postgraduate education.

During the webinar, the group presents its recommendations and conclusions. The recommendations are based on lessons learned from a pilot course and on the group’s discussions about how especially researchers at the beginning of their careers can be better equipped to present their research, participate in the social debate and collaborate with stakeholders outside the academy.

The report also raises questions about how doctoral students from different faculties can learn from each other and what support they can expect. It also raises questions about how subject disciplines, departments and higher education institutions can collaborate both internally and at national level on course content related to research communication.
