The Alzheimer’s Foundation prioritises projects
- with the potential to be able to stop the development of disease in AD in the short or long term
- with a focus on diagnosing the disease at an early stage
- which enables the treatment and rehabilitation of AD patients
- projects where clinical benefit can be clearly described
- projects where collaboration between research groups strengthens the project’s quality and feasibility
The Alzheimer’s Foundation does not prioritize projects
- which is essentially repetition of previously known data
- which are purely descriptive, far from potential clinical benefit, or have low news value.
This year, we especially encourage younger researchers who are in the process of qualifying for an associate professorship to apply. A special pot of funds will be set aside for them.
