University of Gothenburg coordinates the Swedish-Japanese collaboration MIRAI 2.0, between 19 Swedish and Japanese universities. The purpose of MIRAI 2.0 is to strengthen research collaborations between Sweden and Japan with a special focus on early career researchers.
During the MIRAI 2.0 Research & Innovation Week on June 7-11, there will be many opportunities for researchers to broaden and deepen the contacts in Japan and Sweden through scientific conferences/workshops within ageing, materials science, sustainability, artificial intelligence, innovation and entrepreneurship. The conference, hosted by the University of Gothenburg, is conducted digitally and brings together researchers from all member universities in Sweden and Japan as well as university managements, representatives of business, industry and research funding agencies. The event is connected to an upcoming seed funding call for Japanese-Swedish collaborative projects and will be followed by additional activities to increase Japan-Sweden collaboration in research, education and innovation.
