The purpose of the L’Oréal-Unesco For Women in Science Award is to draw attention to, encourage and reward women researchers who have shown great potential in science (including medicine), physics, technology or mathematics and whose work contributes to sustainable development and solving the great challenges of humanity. . The Women in Science Prize in Sweden is awarded by The L’Oréal Foundation, the Swedish UNESCO Council and the Swedish Young Academy for the fifth year.
In connection with the award ceremony, we get to listen to Åsa Wikforss, professor of theoretical philosophy at Stockholm University, who is interviewed by Gabriella Ahlström on the theme: research and hope for the future
