2020
Since 1952, the Jubilee Clinic’s Cancer Fund has funded cancer research at, or in connection with, the Jubilee Clinic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. In addition to projects and trips to scientific congresses, the fund has for some years now been investing in granting grants for research months, which enables younger researchers to get started with their research. The board has now decided to expand the circle of active cancer researchers throughout western Sweden, provided that there is an affiliate to the research at the Jubilee Clinic on the academic side.
Eligible to apply are PhD clinically active researchers employed at the Jubilee Clinic or at other oncology activities in the Västra Götaland region and northern Halland (Kungsbacka or Varberg), including oncologists, physicists, nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians, speech therapists and more. When employed at a clinic other than the Jubilee Clinic, the application must clearly state in what way there is a connection to the research at the Jubilee Clinic.
The application is made via the website www.jkcf.se, the page “Forskning” (Research), the section “För forskare” (For researchers). There is additional information about the criteria for receiving grants. This year’s application round ends on 15 December 2020.
