Stiftelsen Konrad och Helfrid Johanssons fond (The Konrad and Helfrid Johansson Foundation)
The board of the “Foundation for Konrad and Helfrid Johansson’s fund for medical research at the University of Gothenburg” declares a number of scholarships vacant for 2021. The applicants must be registered researchers at the University of Gothenburg, have defended their doctoral thesis no more than 5 years from the application date and have at least one work published in a scientific journal.
Section 2 of the memorandum of the foundation reads:
The purpose of the foundation is to give a scholarship from the fund’s free return once a year to a deserving and needy younger medical researcher living in this country, who has completed a bachelor’s degree in medicine or a comparable degree and through the scholarship shall be given the opportunity to make an effort to combat a public disease. The scholarship may be awarded to the same researcher a maximum of three times.
SEK 200,000 is available.
There is no special application form, but the research program must include the following headings: specific objectives, project description, significance and references.
The application must include; research program, CV, list of publications and budget. The entire application must include a maximum of 5 A4 pages, Fonts Times 12 with 1 ½ line spacing

The money will be paid out as an external research grant to the managing authority. Only those who are awarded funding will be notified approximately 1 month after the last application date. No later than one year after the end of the scholarship period, the research fellow must submit a scientific report to the board.
