Akademiska Hus will install nearly 4,000 square meters of solar panels on nine buildings at Campus Medicinareberget. The solar cells will be in operation by the end of next year, and will then generate 675,000 kilowatt hours of renewable electricity per year, which corresponds to what an electric car needs to be able to drive 75 laps around the earth. The solar panels that are now being set up on the roofs of Medicinareberget are an investment of approximately SEK 10 million for Akademiska Hus, which has already installed solar cells on the roof at School of Buisiness, Economics, and Law.
