The Konrad Foundation and the Helfrid Johansson Foundation.
The Board of the “Foundation for Konrad and Helfrid Johansson’s Fund for Medical Research at the University of Gothenburg” declares a number of scholarships for 2020. The applicant must be a registered researcher at the University of Gothenburg, have a dissertation for a maximum of 5 years from the application date and have at least one work published in a scientific journal.
Section 2 of the founding record reads:
The purpose of the foundation is to once a year grant scholarship to deserving and needy younger resident who lives here in the nation, who has completed a medical doctor’s degree or comparable degree and through the scholarship shall be given the opportunity to make an effort to combat a people’s disease. The scholarship may be awarded to the same researcher at most three times.
Available is SEK 200,000.
No special application form exists, but the research program should include the following headings: specific objectives, project description, significance and references. The application must contain: research program, CV, publication list and budget. The entire application must cover a maximum of 5 A4 pages, font Times 12 with 1 ½ line spacing

The money will be paid as an external research grant to the managing authority. Only those who are allocated funds will be notified about 1 month after the last application date. No later than one year after the end of the scholarship period, the fellow must submit a scientific report to the board.
