Recently, the Internationalization Report presented its final proposals, where the investigator suggests, inter alia, that the scholarships granted by universities should be doubled, and that a new flagship scholarship for highly qualified students should be introduced. The rules for tuition fees will also be more legal proof for the student and more flexible for the university. The investigator also wants to introduce rules and procedures that make it easier for third-country students to come to Sweden and study. The higher education institutions are proposed to have greater responsibility in the processing of residence permits for studies, in a first step regarding the assessment of study views.
