A new report from Karolinska Institutet presents a study on the importance of the working environment for researchers’ achievements. The performance measurements used are the usual, namely bibliometric indicators and the external grants. The results show that the working environment has a clear consistent relationship with future scientific publishing and external grants. The strongest impact was the indicators that relate to the quality of the publications.
