Following the advisory elections held at the Institute of Medicine, Professor Jan Borén and Professor Anna Rudin are suggested as a new Head and Deputy Head. In the head election, voter turn-out was 62.9 percent. The number of valid votes was 171, of which Jan Borén received 91, while the other candidate, Professor Kristina Eriksson, received 75 votes. Five voters abstained. In the deputy head election, 101 voted, which gave a voter turn-out of 37 percent. 80 percent supported the Nomination committee’s proposal Anna Rudin, 16 percent abstained and 4 percent voted against. The election is advisory. The decision is made by Dean Dean Agneta Holmäng, after union negotiations.
