Helle Wijk and Eva Jakobsson Ung have received SEK 1,600,000 from the Kamprads Foundation Foundation for a research project on what the availability of digital culture means in care and welfare. The study is qualitative, and will investigate whether digital cultural access is of importance to well-being and existential health among healthcare receivers in municipal healthcare, their related and caregivers. The digital cultural resource is being developed in close cooperation with the Gothenburg symphonics, Gotehnburg Opera and Musik i Syd (Music in the South). The study takes place between 2018 and 2020.
