The Vice-Chancellor has decided to nominate Malin Levin as new member of the Gothenburg Animal Research Ethics Committee, where she will succeed Martin Bergö. Malin Levin is Associate Professor of molecular medicine at the Wallenberg Laboratory, at the Institute of Medicine. The Gothenburg Animal Research Ethics Committee is one of seven regional councils in Sweden. In addition to the chairman and vice-chairman, both of whom are lawyers, the boards consist of six researchers and animal technicians, as well as six laymen representing public and animal welfare organizations.
