The research bill “Kunskap i samverkan” (“Knowledge in cooperation”), states, among other things, that Vinnova receive increased resources in the form of a 10-year national research program for accessibility design, research & innovation. Furthermore, funds are added to both Formas and Vinnova to build collaboration program around the Government’s five selected strategic areas of innovation – the next generation of travel and transportation, Smart cities, Circular / bio-based economy, Life Science, Connected industry and New materials.
On March 6, Vinnova’s Director General Charlotte Brogren visits University of Gothenburg and presents Vinnova’s new efforts in relation to the research bill and Vinnova’s new mission to evaluate the universities’ collaboration. After Vinnova’s presentation, three researchers at University of Gothenburg will give brief input and comments and finally there will be time for discussion and questions.
